Brazil is positioned to become a world leader in the carbon market, as we hold most of our territory preserved and, in addition, we have the largest tropical forest in the world and the largest reserves of drinking water on the planet. Faced with this immense potential, the government of the state of Rio de Janeiro is working towards the creation of a sustainable asset exchange in Brazil.
