On the International Day of Indigenous Peoples, we reaffirm our commitment to valuing, protecting and respecting the rich cultural diversity and rights of indigenous peoples.

WMF invests in projects that seek to further strengthen this mission, working side by side with local communities to promote sustainable management and conservation of forests, and we recognize the fundamental importance of the traditional knowledge of these peoples in building a future in harmony with the nature and cultures that enrich our society.
