Great News for Amazon!

Efforts are yielding concrete results in protecting the Amazon! According to recent data, in July 2023, the area under deforestation alerts in the Amazon showed a remarkable drop of 66% compared to the same period of the previous year.

This significant reduction is cause for celebration, and WMF is proud to be part of this achievement.
