The aeronautical sector is one of the largest emitters of polluting gases into the atmosphere.
Studies by Bain & Company show that even with investments of 1.3 trillion dollars in sustainable aviation fuels (SAF) it will meet only 20% of the sector’s forecasted demand by 2050. According to the study, the sector’s decarbonization targets do not will be fulfilled by 2050. Increasing the need for parallel investments in environmental compensation and the acquisition of carbon credits.
Showing once again green hydrogen as a possible substitute fuel for the aviation sector. Boeing, Airbus and Embraer have already announced the use of hydrogen either as propulsion with hydrogen being burned in gas turbines or converted into complementary electrical energy, or using synthetic fuels also based on hydrogen.
WMF Energy is the ideal partner for carbon neutralization projects. We know that the demand for green hydrogen is only growing and current world production does not meet this demand.
